Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Reuters) – Dubai-based Tall Entertainment Centre (TEC) will host the All-Stars game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic on Sunday, the company announced on Monday.
The games are set to take place at the Dubai Olympic Park on Sunday night, the Dubai Sport and Entertainment Authority (DSEA) said in a statement.TEC will also host a series of events for the entertainment industry, including a live broadcast of the games, the statement said.
“It’s a very big and exciting opportunity for us to build our brand and showcase our talent and entertainment to the world,” said Dubai-headquartered Tall Entertainment CEO Dr. Mohamed Al-Moussawi.
“We want to share our culture with the world and showcase the culture and heritage of Dubai.”
The All-Spurs game is scheduled to take on the Los Lakers in the Staples Center on Sunday at 8 p.m.

The Lakers are led by guard Kobe Bryant and forward Brandon Ingram.
The Lakers beat the Los Angels Clippers 98-92 on Friday to capture the league’s Most Improved Player award.
