Hollywood’s biggest night for live entertainment has moved to Sunday, a change that will benefit the industry as well as the industry’s biggest star, Jennifer Lawrence.
Lawrence, who has been a big draw in the nation’s capital since the summer of 2016, is set to host Sunday night’s evening of Saturday Night Live.
The evening will feature a variety of shows, including the latest movies and television shows from the weekend, as well a special preview of the show’s upcoming new series, ‘The Real Housewives of New York.’
The show is produced by the NBCUniversal network.
On Sunday, Lawrence will also be featured in the hit show ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ which will be seen as an homage to the late Michael Jordan, a popular pro basketball player who played for the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks.
Jordan was a six-time NBA champion and four-time All-Star, who was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
He retired after the 2016-17 season.
Lawie will host the episode titled ‘A Special Guest: Michael Jordan,’ airing at 9 p.m.
ET/PT on NBC.
It is the latest episode of the series.
“The Real Houses of New Jersey,” the upcoming film about the legendary New Jersey Nets basketball team, will be hosted by the legendary actor and former New York Giants great, Will Arnett, and the cast will include Liza Minnelli, Paul Giamatti, Melissa Joan Hart, and Jason Mantzoukas.
The first episode of ‘American Hacking,’ a documentary series produced by NBCUniversal and executive produced by John Mulaney and Mark Burnett, will air at 9:30 p.b.m., and will feature special guests.
The ‘Late Night’ host will also host the show on Monday.’
American Ninja Warriors,’ the latest film in the popular NBC series, will debut on Monday night at 10 p.p.m ET/7:30 a.m PT.
The film stars Chris Pratt, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Jason Momoa, and others.
The show will be featured on NBCUniversal’s YouTube channel on Monday at 10:30/9 p.c.
